These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS] ("we") for the Kabiteo app and website. By using Kabiteo you accept them.

1. What Kabiteo is

Kabiteo is a reader for EPUB books and audiobooks you add yourself, with an optional AI reading companion. We do not sell, lend or distribute books.

2. Your books

• Only add books and audiobooks you have the right to use (for example ones you bought, public-domain works, or works whose author allows it).
• Your files stay on your device. You keep all rights you have in them.
• So the companion can work, you allow us to process the text of the books you use with it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Do not use Kabiteo to copy, share or publish books you do not have the rights to.

3. Accounts

Reading needs no account. Companion features need one. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account any time in Settings.

4. Subscriptions

• Kabiteo Pro is a paid subscription that renews automatically until you cancel.
• Purchases in the app are billed and managed by [Google Play / the App Store]; cancel in your store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

5. AI answers

Companion answers, character sheets and recaps are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. They are a reading aid, not a replacement for the book. We aim to limit them to what you have read, but cannot guarantee that no detail from later in the book ever appears.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, bypass limits, reverse-engineer the servers, or use the companion to produce unlawful content.

7. Copyright complaints

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Kabiteo running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice of major changes to paid features.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Kabiteo is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Law
